LettsSafari is Expanding - Bringing Rewilding to the Masses
LettsSafari will be universally available from Earth Day - get involved!
From Earth Day, on 22 April, LettsSafari will become widely available - with an expanded offering, wider distribution and more ways for our members to get involved. We will also add support for an increased number of private parks and more tools and technology to help anyone become a wild eco-warrior.
Our mission to bring rewilding to the masses will take a big step forward. We will make rolling announcements and special offers over the next few weeks on our social media and beyond - here are a few snippets in advance.
18 years ago we started building our first rewilded safari garden on just a few acres. From this we have built safari parks and gardens of all sizes - both small, medium and large safari gardens and safari parks.
“We define small LettsSafari parks as 10-25 acres, medium sized parks are 25-75 acres and large parks are more than 75 acres.”
With this incredible experience 10 years ago we started building model gardens and parks at Mamhead Park South in Exeter. This expansive work, behind the scenes, has come to fruition and today we have 2 parks, the Capability Brown gardens and a number of small, inner showcase gardens. We have wild verges and a wild roundabout. We are currently playing with a wild kitchen garden concept. We have directly inspired hundreds of smaller-scale rewilding projects in southwest England. Now we want to inspire projects throughout the UK and beyond.
From Earth Day on 22 April our paid members will be offered private tours and events at Mamhead Park South for the first time. You will also get advanced guides and methods for building your very own safari garden and your own small, medium or large LettsSafari park.
Every year we experiment with new spaces, new plants and animals and new approaches. We see LettsSafari as a ‘system’ for mass market rewilding that we are constantly tweaking. We use computer programmes to design new spaces and approaches. We use AI to speed up our work and help accelerate biodiversity enhancements. And all of this enables us to spend more time in nature. We’ll show you how.
We will be bringing all of this to you with new enhanced posts, visualisation tools and our newly improved Wild TV channel. We will also start hosting a few, select podcasts.
We will invite LettsSafari members to an annual pick-your-own tree day in October from the incredible collection of saplings and seedlings grown naturally using our rewilding techniques. You will be able to pick and re-plant at-home your very own Capability Brown garden tree - an oak, cherry, silver birch, beech, ash, English maple or more.
We are also ready to expand the LettsSafari Network of Parks. If you have a 10+ acre piece of land you would like to turn into a LettsSafari park then message us below and we’ll get you going. *You have to be a paid member to join the programme.
Also, check out our new Linkedin page for updates, offers and posts. You can even join the team!
Mostly we hope you will get ever more out of LettsSafari as we expand our capabilities, our team and our support to help everyone join the rewilding movement - 1 tree, 1 animal and 1 new LettsSafari park or garden at a time.
