Spring is Arriving: The Wild Way!
Nature's great spectacle is about to begin. Here's some photography to inspire!
Spring means renewal. At LettsSafari parks and gardens that equates to nature bursting into life and wildlife’s newest babies stuttering onto its pathways. Wild lands tend to enhance the seasons. It could be the stronger, healthier soil structures, it could be the cleaner air or it could just be that nature is happier being a little wilder.
We thought we would get in the mood with a few images of nature’s imminent arrival. This year should produce a vibrant spring across our parks given last year’s hot summer and a few timely winter cold snaps. Blossoms will, as a result, be brighter than normal.
Lakes and streams benefit from the winter rains and the higher sun this time of year. Offering natural places for reflection and renewal.
But the bleakness of winter is not far behind us. The transition to spring is most welcome. Particularly for those that have been suffering with the horrific storms and natural disasters.
And yet an explosion of colour is just around the corner. Waiting to delight us and bring new growth.
Our forests are about to light up as the higher cresting sun shines through. The ground cover is just waiting to spring into action.
The sound of wood being pecked echoes out - with the new born soon to arrive. Driving a frenzy of pre-natal ‘pecking’ activity.
And little critters will soon be calling out for their mothers. The shriek, bleat, and bark of a new year jerking into full force. For now, just around the corner. Tantalising… full of new hope.
We know that this has been a difficult winter for many and we hope that spring brings you greater hope and that LettsSafari and the call of the wild continues to inspire you. It certainly keeps us going.
