Urban Rewilding: Changing Up London's Regent's Park
In our continuing series on Urban Rewilding we visit Regent's park in Central London holding visions of a rewilding future, but still constant reminders of our restricted present.
Regent’s Park, considered the “Crown in the Jewel” among London’s eight Royal Parks, is a fascinating case study in both the importance and future of rewilding, and the processes and potential of adopting rewilding techniques. However, in many ways it is still a reminder of the negatives of our traditional relationship with nature, the way that we have held it back, affected its quality and deprived it of its natural beauty.
